MENS SANA was founded in 2024 by brothers Axel Rangel Lara and Ayax Rangel Lara, who shared a vision of transforming mental healthcare in their community. Inspired by his private practice and the growing need for accessible, high-quality specialized services, Dr. Axel Rangel Lara launched this project with the goal of building a comprehensive care model that could eventually contribute to the development of a hospital specializing in mental health.

What began as a clinical group focused on outpatient psychiatric care has rapidly evolved into a growing organization with three locations, the adoption of cutting-edge technology such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and a multidisciplinary team of more than 11 specialists, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and physicians.

MENS SANA also actively contributes to the training of future professionals by welcoming psychology interns from UACJ and nursing staff, while maintaining its commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and the well-being of the community.

Guided by the motto “We Are Mental Health,” we continue working to bring our philosophy to life: A Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body.
